    Range Finder

Looking for a new range finder. Recommendations please.

    #2
Ive had a Nikon rangefinder for almost 20 years. I would recommend it for the simple fact it still works as new and ive never had any problems out of it. Nothing fancy, but does what you need.

Also, I would recommend getting one with black numbering vs colored (such as red). My step dad has a Leupold with red lettering and it can be hard to read.

i think the opposite on coloring. the red is better in low light IMO.
the vortex ranger you can adjust brightness

what ever you get, get one that compensates for angle

That’s odd because I asked this question not long ago and many said it’s not worth the extra cost unless your shooting across revines.

same here. In low light the black is hard to see.

X3. The range and display are great and the battery life is awesome!

Go to camofire. Theyve got some Leupold rangefinders on sale today.

Check out the warranty on some brands first. Leupy only has a 2 year warranty from what I read.

I know for a fact Sigs warranty is stellar!

Vortex Ranger 1000 has been great for me. Had it 4 years now and no problems. Compensated for angle and has never died in the field! It is red display but as stated you can adjust the brightness so no issues even at mid day with it. Vortex has a great warranty as well

I freakin LOVE my Sig Kilo 2200 range finder. Illuminated reticle (red) is where it’s at. It has auto adjust brightness too so mid day it’s bright as heck so you can see fine and low light it dims itself so you aren’t blinded by it. They even make one that talks to their Sig scopes via Bluetooth to show you drop in your scope reticle for long shots. Pretty slick.
