QD Cups

Where is the best place to have the cups on a stock? Looking mainly for a sling to be used in positional shooting such as NRL22 and PRS. I have seen a few people talking about the front cup being on the bottom of the stock. Is that better or easier to use than the side of the stock. Just looking for opinions. Thanks in advance!

If you’re right handed then the front cup should be on the left hand side and rear on the right side of the rear portion of the stock.
