2021 Salty H20 Fishing Thread!

I took off on Wednesday and hit Estes Flats in the kayak. I got into the redfish, mostly undersized, and it was a heck of a lot of fun!

Calling for some calm surf this weekend. I got Saturday off but won’t be able to make it out.

Last time it was absurdly rough with the North wind, made me scratch my head. This time I'm planning to run down the beach and find those pockets of fish again like last time. This time I'll have the wife with me so we may fish more. I sure hope the surf cooperates!

That was what had me reschedule my weekend trips, the wind. Looks like I'll be at the fishing show from this eve through sun. Can't fish, might as well go help some buddies out at the show.

I will help out some in the Bass Assassin booth and will help out some in the Sunrise Lodge booth too, I'd imagine.

I went to the show last night with the wife and kids. Mostly just to look around, but needed a new stringer and some hooks. Wife and kids spent most of their time in jewelry/clothing booths. Ended up with stringer/hooks/hat/shirts for kids/ and on the way out, wife says "stop by the Sarge booth again, we need to pick something up". She bought me a Sarge freebird. Can't wait to put it to the test. I also ordered a standard mapping card for my boat that came in last night. Problem is I went and got the snip this morning and can't get out of my chair for a few days.
