    Wagyu brisket

Just got done cooking my first wagyu brisket, and i have to say its the best one i have ever tasted. The meat just melts, the point is so soft u dont even have to chew it. I guess the 140 bucks was well worth it.

My family and friends request it every time now. It’s hard to beat.

A buddy of mine gets his from HEB. They are from Snake River Farms. I've never cooked one, but he sure thinks they are well worth the money.

I wasn’t impressed. At least for the price difference...

Same. To me it just doesn't have that beefy flavor like a prime CAB

I wonder how much actual wagyu is in that brisket.

I have a choice Angus brisket on the smoker now. It had a good price for us up here, $2.96 / lb.
Never tried wagyu, we tend to like leaner meats though. I'm thinking as a brisket it would be pretty awesome.

I'm throwing a little red oak in the firebox today, with some pecan wood.

I have a Costco prime brisket finishing up on the smoker. $2.59/lb. haven’t found any better at a comparable price.
