Left free house yesterday morning about 830, sound have put me at the lease about 130. Which would have given me time to set call up and hunt that evening.
Well, I'm wait 1/3 of the way to the lease when I realized I'd forgotten my CPAP.
I wasn't overly stressed, a buddy had a meeting was going to come down after it was over. I texted him and turned around to head back home. I wasn't sure when he call me so if rather be getting closer to the house instead of further from. 30 minutes later he calls. Went be able to make it. Has another house full of kids and grandkids. I was bummed, I was looking forward to us hunting together this weekend. I also laid out 8# of venison to bring. I normally go to town or way sandwiches.
I decided to stop and get some groceries as I know my wife won't eat venison I might as well since it's thawed and I don't want to refreeze it.
I get to the lease at 510pm feeder spunn at 4. Legal shooting light is like 6pm. In decided I stay in last night.
Went to head out this am and it is dark. I took the truck closer to the blind, I missed a turn to peek where we normally park. I decided to park somewhere ever instead of freaking through the trees looking for the road, which hasn't been mowed. Start walking to the blind and the gate is closed?
First time in 3 years I've seen it closed. I didn't close it, another thing was that the locks on the front gate where wrong again. The hay for from 2 years ago still had his luck on the gate so we've been looking him out. Sometimes moved out lock and now the chain is to sorry so we have to use the hay guys lock to have enough chain to lock the gate. I'm not sure what to think of this...

He's 13 or 14 now. Got shot in the left front leg when he was 1.5 years old. He has a difficult time getting around..
