The one morning I leave my pistol at camp, I find this while hand corning.
She was sound asleep. Like I said didn’t have my pistol, just a KBAR. Yup, I went full Marine on her ran my knife behind her front leg. Now, if your are seriously deer hunting (I’m tagged out, just watching the rut) I wouldn’t suggest trying this. Because when she came off that feeder straight at me, with a KBar stuck in her side, she was not happy. I’m not real sure how much penetration I actually got, there is blood. But she still had plenty of fight. After a few very loud girlish screams, and a lot of kicking she decided to retreat! Needless to say I’m fully awake now, and seem to have gotten over the slight hangover I did have. Adrenaline is a wonderful cure!
