    LDP public service reminder.......

Folks....just a quick reminder when taking LDPs.... Have the hunter and deer facing the sun or at a minimum angled to the side. It can mean the difference between a great LDP of the deer of a lifetime or a dark silhouetted out of focus pic that even PS can't sharpen up.

    Carry on...

Most phones have a timed photo option. Very easy to take a good LDP by yourself with a little dance and couple of takes.

              Frame it up.

Hit the timed photo button and hop back there real quick.

Do it again for different angles.

If you are using your smart phone. You can actually tell it to take your picture or take a selfie

This works or I’ve had decent luck with setting up and recording a video and then you can take screenshots off the video...

A great small tool for your backpack that doesn't take up much room if you hunt by yourself a lot...matched with the smart phone timer above and its a breeze. I also use it to hold my phone to film if I have a place to wrap it around.

                          octopus mini tripod....

I think I’m gonna order one of these for times like now when I’m not blue to use my big tripod. Used to have one for the video ca and used the crap out of it until it broke but I would like one for my phone.

By myself I always set my phone up and start a video. Go do my thing and screen shot the best frames.
