    Lol you scared me that I may have given bad advice. That 50a receptacle SHOULD be being fed 220v so doing what I advised should power a 220 welder just fine.

      Just start plugging that shat in with any means necessary and just look for smoke in your RV. If the lights come on and there's no smoke your all good.

        I'm sorry.... I should have paid closer attention to what I was reading.
        You should connect to the two hot lines and the ground line, not using the neutral. That will give you 230 volts and a ground.
