    Exotics on public land?

Does Texas have any public land with exotic animals? Not looking for anything specific, I'd just like to hunt something on public land other than pigs next year during the off season. TIA

Not sure if you can hunt there when it isn't deer season?? I hunted there about 12+ years ago and I think once deer season was over, hunting closed.

Maybe someone else can answer that question?

There’s a walk in place in Kerrville that has exotic mammals listed. I hunted it hard back in high school and only saw pigs

Friend of mine's daughter just got an axis doe and an aoudad during a youth hunt at Guadalupe State Park.
