We were up there this afternoon helping some friends. 2 ft of water in their home and a huge oak tree lost a couple of large limbs. Quite a mess. Lot's of chain saw work and clean up.

Lots of damage around the high school and the downtown area. Many older buildings toppled. Saw several awnings wrapped around trees. 75-80mph straight line winds laid over many fences, trees, athletic field light standards, and generally relocated stuff. EF-1 confirmed. I'll tell ya, those poor Bowie 2020 HS seniors sure are snakebit. Attempting to celebrate graduation and salvage a grim spring, there was a scheduled in-person outdoor graduation ceremony, which had to be canceled because of an impending tornado. Wow
