I must be missing something here. 4x4 frame with exceptional brows and a split. 150-160? I guess I need to sharpen my pencil on this one. I still have him around 130 on paper. Good buck no doubt. Hopefully we’ll see him on the OPs tailgate. Good luck sir.

Eight point frame your loosing 6-7 inches of mass right off the top.
Total length 49
Mass 22
Beams 44
Spread 18
Extra on split 4
137
Where am I off?

How do you figure that? Every deer gets 4 mass measurements per side regardless of points. Youíre not losing anything in that category.

If Iím wrong I have learned something here and apologies but now Iím confused. I googled it and have conflicting information. 2010 says 4 on an 8 point frame. 2020 says 3 and both claim to be B&C scoring criteria for 8 point whitetail deer.

Guess range from 130 to 160...that's a huge variance on a deer in this range. I shot a long browed 9 similar to this before. He was low 40s and this buck is bigger.

Hard for me to judge in velvet but I’d agree with the others in the mid 40’s but I wouldn’t be shocked if he hit the 50 mark with those brows. Regardless he’s a unique and beautiful deer. I hope you get a shot at him before he busts those dagger eye guards up, those things are impressive…

i think he breaks 150"-- his brows will easily make up for the absence of g4s
i gave him 45" of main beam. mass hurts him a little..

Since you asked, official B&C scoring doesn't punish you with 3 wraps instead of 4 for an 8 pointer. You just take the 4th wrap halfway between the G3 and the tip of the beam

Other than that, nailed it
