Default Quick Turkey Day Duck Hunt

Son and me talked momma into letting us sneak out for a few hours. Not a heck of a lot flying but we scrounged out one limit. Mixed bag of ring necks, gadwall, red head and this pretty canvasback that my son made a great shot on.

Going to give it one more try Sunday if the north wind forecast holds up. Otherwise, second season will hopefully bring more birds down. Havenít had much cold/snow up north yet.

Congrats. I like the way canvasback tastes. But I'd also like to have one mounted. Last one I shot was 100 points. 1973, I think.
