    Inspired by God?

    #2
I suppose one could land at this supposition based on Romans 13

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities,

Leaves one to wonder what people of North Korea did to serve the living hell they endure under that evil regime. Meanwhile US prances men around in women’s clothing, kills the unborn by the millions etc

People twist words around every day to fit their beliefs. No matter what side of the fence they're on. That's why I'm not real big on organized religion. Literally anyone can take parts of the Bible and twist the words into their own meaning to push an agenda off on others.

I just have a slight suspicion but I think God is probably a little too busy to care whether you can carry a gun, have a right to free speech, etc. I'm not so arrogant as to think God is worried about the United States. I've heard "God helps those who help themselves." We're lying in the bed we made. Meanwhile in other countries people are getting blown up and whatnot. I'm sure he's gotten more prayers that have "Lord help this country" in them this year than he ever has. But yet a lightning bolt hasn't struck Biden yet. Kinda makes me think he's already tried to help and we didn't accept it so he said to hell with it.

Maybe try a different approach. "Dear Lord, would it be too much to ask for a thunder storm over the Whitehouse at least once a day?" Just to improve our chances.

I mean that in the nicest way possible. I would never wish death on anybody. I just wish some people weren't so lively. Might have the Frankenstein affect on him. He's brain dead so maybe a good jolt might get it to working properly so he and everyone else will know what he's talking about. He may even stop sniffing kid's hair?

I think the founders were mostly devout men, maybe that’s what the window sticker is referring to.

1John 5:19 Says the whole world is lying in satans hands. That includes the U.S As mentioned above a lot of our statutes came from Bible principles and a lot of godly men and women have and still promote a godly way of life and you can’t go wrong with that. But the bottom line God listens and watches godly people all over the world and does not favor one country as a whole over another.Nationalisms are just another way satan deceives and divides people.I’m glad to live and support a country that promotes relative personal freedoms and principles.I’m a firm believer in the prophecy at Daniel 2:44 God will set up a kingdom that will never falter and it will crush and put an end to all other kingdoms.I do believe biblical principles inspired the birth and founding of our country, but definitely not inspired by God himself. In all nations the man that fears the true God is acceptable to him.It hurts my feelings to see so much ugly satanic behavior by folks in this country especially knowing the basis and backbone for why it was established. But this is just fulfilling Jesus end time prophecy, unfortunately we’re going to see it get way worse and then as Mathew 24:14 says then the end will come.At some point if we live long enough all of us will have to take a stand for Jehovah and Jesus Christ and that may mean separation from the political parties in control no matter what country we find ourselves in.I appreciate folks expressing there faith in god and country like this person was doing but I do worry about folks being to presumptuous about speaking on behalf of God.

It's evidence of the philosophy, "Christian Nationalism," and it erroneous.

"Inspired" can mean different things in different contexts. A person might mean something different by "inspired" when they say the scriptures are inspired by God than when they say the Constitution was inspired by God. They might mean God was the motive behind the Constitution, not that it was inspired in the same sense that the Bible is inspired.

The interesting part of this to me, though, was the part where it distinguished Jesus from the Father by saying Jesus is our brother and savior. That sounds almost Mormon.

How about disorganized religion? God is order and every church has a ritual or order that things are done.
