Anyone going to Maine in the fall?

Went a couple of years ago in mid-October. A bad nor'easter was rolling out as we rolled in. Reminiscent of Harvey with pole trucks and downed trees everywhere! A lot of the leaf color was blown out. With all that said, it was still absolutely stunning! We stayed at a friend's place on Pemaquid Point right next to the lighthouse. Going back is on the to do list.

Take the RT.1 tour from Portland to Bar Harbor. Wiscasset is a must. Eat at REDS.

Bar harbor and Cadillac mountain at sunrise. Bike ride thru Acadia National park. It is very beautiful, and blue berries everywhere

I check out landsofmaine.com all the time, I know its not year around access to alot of that property, but its amazing what can be bought up there for a fraction of even south Texas. I would really like to have a cabin and small bear/grouse camp up there
