DIL has Covid and feels pretty rotten. She has been taking the Ivermectin paste for a couple of days. My son says the granddaughters are starting to cough some but don't feel bad. If this stuff progresses do people do the same stuff for the kiddos? Are there other things besides the paste my DIL needs to be taking? Hard to discern what is helpful and what isn't as there is so much stuff on the internet.

How old are the girls?
I’d probably give them diet tonic water, zicam, and melatonin at night.

My 24 year old son just spent the last two weeks with Covid. He had it pretty bad. This is what he took.
Ivermectin 3mg tabs x 4 per day for 5 days
Zithromax Zpak
Dexamethasone 6mg daily for 10 days.
Nebulizer with either albuterol or budesonide as needed.
Tylenol/Advil combo for fever
Monitor O2 saturation with a pulse ox.
He did not do monoclonal antibody therapy because I didn’t think he would have much trouble. The window for that is first five days of symptoms. If O2 saturation drops below 90% they need to go in and be treated. Good luck.Comment

Speck, thats a lot for a 24 year old man.
Did he need the dex ? That stuff lowers the immune system hence the nebulized steroids
Also, while Zpack is ok with HCQ, supposedly ivermectin shouldn’t be taken with antibiotics
I hope he is doing better
