Saw Kevin Rogers listed his top 10 crappie lakes today, I could guess most of them before he started. He had Fork 1, Millwood 2, Pines 3, and Grenada 4. I'm surprised he didn't list Pines number 1 but he said it fluctuates too much to be his number 1. Hard to argue with that. The fish are still scattered from the 10' rise a couple months ago. If you haven't been to those lakes you should go! Millwood and Grenada in March are magical when conditions line up!

We fished Waco yesterday without much luck and came back to the ramp with even worse luck. Someone cut the catalytic converters off my truck at the Midway boat ramp.

Met Bill Muntz with Fin and Bones Taxidermy today and picked up my 3.71 from Grenada and little mans 3.17 from Fork and che led when I got home and his fish has been updated as the junior angler lake Fork record white crappie!! Pretty good day! Bill does great work and has quick turnaround. Refreshing change from my last fish experience!

Had no idea Bill was in my neck of the woods. Saw Slew’s recommendation on here a few months back. I had him remake my PB black bass that my dad’s wife broke 3 years ago. He just sent me a video of the mount and it should be ready to pick up tomorrow. Phenomenal work and wayyyyy better than my previous mount. He’ll get any fish I choose to have mounted in the future.

Ran a bunch of trips last week to finish off my summer. I wont run anymore trips until mid September. The heat just takes all the fun out of it for me.

Kept 50 Saturday and another 25 Sunday. Had a bunch between 14"-16" long. Using Berkley Alive Minnows rigged on a drop shot.
