Christmas trip

Looking for a place with snow to go for Christmas. We want something magical with snow and fun Christmas things to do with kids. We spent Christmas in pagosa springs two years ago and it was really nice just not a lot of Christmas spirit. Any ideas of somewhere in NM or Colorado to go to for this?

Salt Lake City an option? Relatively cheap the resorts are covered in snow - great scenery - park city all lit up

Fly into to Jackson for the holidays, Jackson Hole to you all in Texas.
We were there just after Christmas for a bison hunt one year.
Very festive all around the square. They should have an ice skating rink set up beside the elk antler arch on the square.
Elk on the refuge and big horn sheep just outside of town.
They have live feed webcams on the square, you can wave to your friends and family in Texas.

Steamboat Springs is really nice for Christmas. But I’d say anywhere in Colorado, Utah, or Montana will have good snow by then

Second Jackson, Snow king resort is in town, night time skiing or tubing. Elk Refuge sleigh ride, Snow mobiling all over, from mountains to valleys. 10 Miles out is the Jackson resort, mostly black runs. An hour away in Idaho id Grand Targhee resort, very nice resort and skiing, I liked it better than the other two for as skiing.
