Shotgun shells for Dove season

Just saw a post on FB about dove leases. Made me curious if we'll see the pallets of shotgun shells as we have in the past, or if you're going to be hunting with what you have left from last season.

I did not fire a shot last year, so I've still got a case.

Anyone with insider info on if they MF will be able to ship it or same old same old with this self-induced hording?

I have been seeing a lot of dove shells at numerous different Academy's in TX. 7, 7.5, 8 shot seem to be relatively available as of the last month.

My buddy who is a pretty big dove outfitter has several pallets of shells bought. He’s fearing some of his corporate groups will not be able to or be prepared once dove season gets here if all this ammo nonsense doesn’t turn around.

The big ammo guys know they will need to switch/ramp up shotgun shells so I bet there will be plenty on the shelfs.

The Academy in Austin by 35/183 had a good ammo selection last week. If you're in Round Rock & desperate, it might be worth the trip.

Ok thanks. I was wondering because I just got in on a bulk buy and paid $60 for Fiocchi's. Wanted to see how close pricing g was.

I was running low last season and ordered a couple cases of 20g and 16g and 12g and never opened them. Glad to have them now.
