    Hearing Aids

Well, it's gotten to the point where even I get annoyed because I can't hear. I have tried some HA but after a couple of thousand, I haven't found anything yet I like. What do you have that I might like?
    Thank you for the info.

I like my Costco brand. No Bluetooth. But free cleaning every time I go to Costco. I do wear headphones to watch tv.

Get tested and see if you can get a Stapedectomy. This is where they replace some bones in the ear with titanium. It is outpatient surgery. I had this done in both ears and have been good for 12 years....Hearing aids are for old farts!

I asked the same question on Rokslide a few days ago. I'm setting up an appointment at Costco soon. Here is a good read that an ear doc posted on my thread:

I have Resound with Bluetooth. Didn’t know that birds still chirped till I got them. They are wonderful and well worth the money in my opinion.

Get ready to get kicked in the nads if you go to a specialist. My hearing loss was women's and young kids voices. Not good when you are a teacher! $6000!

My dad had Costco, worked great and super customer service. He lost one twice and they replaced them for free.

I have minor hearing loss in left ear, but tinnitus something terrible, and getting worse. Do they help with the ring?

I've been pleased with Resounds from Costco. I had issues with the rechargeable model & swapped them out for the regular battery model.

They seem to help me with tinnitus after they've been in a while. You want to go somewhere where they have real ear measurements & can tune them to your specific hearing loss. Cosco might do that, if so that's where I'd go. I went to a specialist & spent way too much money for mine.
