Default Edge Falls, Again

It has been 3 years since I've seen water at this spot. Drove by yesterday and was surprised to see it flowing well. I just can't get enough of shooting this little water fall.

Thanks. I took these from a bridge over the creek. Nothing private about the bridge but there are no trespassing signs everywhere around it. I'm careful not to push my luck as rumor is they hammer those caught trespassing.

Cool. I've done the same many times. Heck, even parking on the side of the road in that country can get you some dirty looks.

My brother and I used to park alongside the road at some of the crossings over the Llano years ago, so we could wade fish. We got lots of dirty looks, honking horns and peeling tires throwing rocks, etc. Enough that we were afraid to get out of sight of our vehicles. Years later, they had fenced down to the bridge and had signs everywhere like you describe.

I went back today. Things have changed! I'll be wearing this place out until I get the shot I'm after. I would like more cooperation out of the sky. Tonight felt right but didn't really go the way I wanted it to.

Great shots of a unique place!

I remember the first time time I saw those falls, but there has not been much/any water since then. Glad to see them flowing again.

That's only part of the falls go Downstream from there and there's a huge waterfall dropped off into a giant pool I used to swim there as a kid when the owner used to charge a small fee to get in now it's owned by somebody else and they keep it all private.

This is not the true "Edge Falls" but it up the creek from it and accessible by public road. The real Edge Falls is not accessible to the public.

Thanks for the comments on these old pics! That place hasn't had any real amount of water in some time.

Looked up the location on maps and that creek is bone dry. Also looked on satellite view and can see the big pool and the real "Edge Falls" downstream. That would be something awesome to see.

What are the specs on your shots? Shutter speed? Stacked images etc? I feel like it would be an awesome location for a night shot too!
