Prayers needed. One of my best friends in this world was diagnosed with stage 3B lung cancer which means it has spread to the nodes. He’s the kind of friend who’s always front of the line to help, but refuses to ask for it. He takes care of all the mowing, edging, grounds work and day to day repairs at our church with zero pay, just his contribution. Shows up for mission trips, good neighbor days and church fund raisers with this infectious grin. He’s self employed. Has a small upholstery shop at his home and has no insurance. He starts radiation and chemotherapy tomorrow. Please send up a prayer for my friend John Pastre and his family as this battle starts for them.
