Congrats to the young hunter. I went and checked cans today and a couple new bucks showed up including another mature shooter. Activity looks pretty good. Just don’t have many good spots for south wind so may wait until next week to hunt when that light front comes in.

Also has anyone in the area noticed more Turkey this yr? I’m guessing my battle against the overgrown brush country is paying off because I didn’t think there was many turkey around anymore but I have started getting more pics this yr than ever. Pretty cool to see.

Had a buck show up on camera while I was out duck hunting.

I shot a doe yesterday morning, but between two hunters she was the only thing seen in a couple of days. It’s definitely slowed down.

It has been slow on my place the last 7-10 days. I’m gonna try it this weekend and maybe Monday morning when the next front hits.

Supposed to get down to the 50's as a high next week with some rain. Maybe it will get them moving more. I think they are on acorns pretty hard right now. I have corn piling up under my feeder. I will have a few visitors throughout the day, but they dont stay long.
