    Teamwork - Coon & Boar

Just moved our Big Bertha #5 protein feeder to a new lease in Tarpley and the deer haven’t found it yet. It’s a timed protein unit that when closed leaves 4 pounds in the tube. This coon and boar have worked out a strategy and spend 2-3 hours per night the last few nights sharing the 4 pounds of feed.

Uh--shoot the boar first, or the coon?

Coon needs to die! He is the brains of the operation.

I was just wondering how you plan to keep the raccoons off of it

It’s really not an issue once the deer find it and utilize it as the Hammer Feeder Is timed so they get there when it opens and eat until it’s empty after it closes.

Have had this feeder out west for a year now and zero issue with coons once the deer start on it.

Coons don't need ladders when they team up with boars.

Only one way to slow the coons down...trap and shoot. We even had the ASF protein stand and fill which has the sharper angles on the protein chutes that they can't sit on. That worked until one of them figured out he could wedge his *** into the corner between the leg and the feeder and scoop it out.
