Sno-seal and melt it in with a hair dryer. Be sure to get it all down in the sole edge stitching.

NikWax is what I have used for a very long time.
                It works tremendously.

Sno-seal and a hair drier to help the boots absorb it.

But clean boots in oven on lowest setting for about 10 minutes, pull out and linearly coat warm boots in Snow Seal.

After they cool buff to a shine if desired.

The warmth causes the pores of the leather to expand and melts the Snow Seal so that it flows into those pores more easily.

Warning, boots will darken in color after soaking up the Snow Seal.

I don't wear leather boots. Or boots with leather, except my snake boots (which I think I've only worn 8 times in the 15 years I've had them). I usually wear rubber boots, insulated rubber boots, or tennis shoes most of the time.

Very intrigued by this product, but does the pine pitch tree sap leave a sticky residue? If not immediately, then perhaps over time?
