I used to have an extra wide 16’ alweld. Bought a flounder rack front and back with Honda motor for $600 from shoal water in Port O’Conner. Retro’d that on there and gigged a lot of flounder out of that boat. Wish I still had it. Looks like your upgrade will be nice!
