The Original Macs tater salad was **** good! The new version I don’t like at all. It’s not the same. I make my tater salad the same way as the Original Macs did. Can’t tell you the secret [emoji23][emoji23]

The Original Mac’s BBQ was the best until Shannon lost it in the divorce. Then it went to Hell! I’ve been in there only a handful of times since Shannon owned it and it wasn’t for the BBQ.

You are correct. Ive been eating there for over 30 years. It once was really good.. Didn't know much about the ownership change but I did hear that Josh Abbott(the singer)owns it now..

Agreed. It's fine. Get the pink potato salad.

My only gripe about Mac's is the potato salad is no longer pink and not quite as good IMO since the last ownership change.
