14 and 17 year old bottles of Stabil

Got two huge bottles of it, one marine and one regular and both have been opened a long long time ago. I know they're not effective anymore but will they hurt anything to burn them up in a carbureted old 4 wheeler or something? Not wanting to toss them in the trash for environmental reasons... or will they burn for a trash barrel fire?

I wouldn’t chance running them through anything being that old. I’d trash or pour it in burn barrel.

I had a bottle of Stabil that was 10 years old and some solid flaky material was at the bottom of the bottle, and it was also very dark in color. There was no way I would have wanted that stuff running through an engine. Definitely wouldn't chance it.

Interesting. I guess even stabilizer is only stable so long.

Dangit I wanted to experiment! Yall are right though I don'tneed to create a headache to deal with so I'llsee if it can start fires. I have a 3rd bottle from 2018, went ahead and dumped that in some fuel tanks, it was a much brighter red than the 14 year old bottle.

14/17 year old Stabil is different than Whiskey!
            Not worth trying it.

I dunno it may more closely resemble whiskey at this point than fuel stabilizer. I probably shouldn't drink it either way lol.

It's pretty decent fire starter, burns slow and not aggressively.

Yeah there's codes stamped on the bottles when they were made.
