Just got my order of 60 bags. I used them as Christmas gift and a good supply of me.

    Thanks Cajun Blake.

      Made this batch this morning.

Elk burger and stew meat with 10% beef suet added
shallots and purple onion from my garden, garlic too (3 cloves)
      roasted Big Jim chiles, diced
      mexican oregano, 1 tsp
      cumin, 1 tsp
      celery seeds , 1/2 tsp
oak smoked guajillo chile powder, 1/2 tsp
      1 can of whole tomtoes
      1 can of water
Chugwater Chile mix to taste, 1-3 TBS
1/3 can dark red kidney beans and 1/3 can chile pinto beans

Yes I know most of you don't put beans in your chili. Up here in the cold we do, along with tomatoes.
By cold I mean like the 24 degrees and 35 mph winds we have today with our dusting of snow.
Roads are closed across the southern part of the state down into Colorado.

If you check out the Terlingua chili cook off official page....they have a list of the last 10 years or so winning recipes....I'm working my way through them and haven't found one yet that I wouldn't make again.

Just tried Cajun Blakes for the first time last week. It was great. All three kids liked it and that's rare. Also tried the fajita seasoning last night and it was a big hit too.

One of the best chili recipes I’ve ever used is called “Touchdown Chili”. It’s in a Cajun cookbook. If I find my cookbook I’ll share it here

I made my first batch this year and I don't think I will try another. Maybe the Shiner version. I would definitely do it with the Zing Zang.

According to John Cornyn, the best Texas chili comes in a can and has a slice of velveeta melted on top in the last minute of microwaving.
