    RIP - Dusty Hill

    From ZZ Top's FB page:

"We are saddened by the news today that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, TX. We, along with legions of ZZ Top fans around the world, will miss your steadfast presence, your good nature and enduring commitment to providing that monumental bottom to the ‘Top'. We will forever be connected to that "Blues Shuffle in C.”
You will be missed greatly, amigo.

          R.I.P.

I have listened to then since I was in Jr. High. But never bought one of their albums. I recently discovered they have a lot more music that I like, than I knew of years ago. What I have learned about them in recent times, has resulted in me having a lot more respect for those three.

That sucks. RIP. Hell of a musician. Can't add a replacement to that group.
I have seen them may times. I have tickets to see then in Lake Charles on 9/2

RIP. I've been blessed to see them live twice with the first being around in '79 in Houston. What a loss.
