Today the fish won! I caught three, broke off two and missed few more. Long day on the water but that’s better than work!!! Lots of time to clear the mind. Been a fun trip and I got a couple days left. Tomorrow I’m hiking in to the canyon I fished on Friday.

Had a long but enjoyable day on the river. Definitely not going to set a record for most fish in a day! But, they were all good ones. The smallest I caught was probably 12 inches and on a streamer. I caught 10. 4 on dries, 2 on streamers and 4 on nymphs. I hiked in about 2 miles at north gate canyon and fished my way out. Only about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile was fish able. Super low water!

Not sure what happened with some of these posts. I ran out to Delaney lakes to throw dries for the last hour. Caught one rainbow on a beetle. Couldn’t get a pic. Good day! One last day of fishing then I have to pick up my moose meat and head back to reality!!!!
