Reminds me of something that went through my head this season that was a funny/bright moment amongst a very unsettling memory.

The biggest buck of my life that I had seen on this lease walked in with a doe. She came over to my hand corn while he jumped into the pen. She was at 12 yards, he was at 26 with cattle panel between me and him. I thought about waiting him out... what would that look like? How long would it take... could he eat faster than her... I thought really hard... I mean really hard for a good solid 5 seconds, maybe an eternity more. Before I raised my bow, I said to myself... I'm about to kill a doe in front of the biggest buck I've laid my eyes on. A few seconds later and that arrow was gone.

That is a beautiful place to hunt.

I'm not getting any younger, and I'm not in the best of health. If I ever do a hunt like that it'd need to be sooner rather than later.

What does a hunt to the tundra cost? All in cost. $10k?
