Thank you for the prayers and well wishes. Though I believe it is close to time for him to go home with our lord and savior. The stroke caused too much damage and he has a no feeding tube directive in his last wishes. So he is being moved to hospice to make his last days more comfortable. Now I ask for healing prayers for my wife and daughter as I'm sure this will not be an easy holiday season. Thank you.

Man, I'm sorry you guys are having to go through this, especially this time of the year! I buried my dad Christmas Eve in 1999... Still tough sometimes even now for me.

Lord, we ask for comfort for this family. We ask You, if it be Your will, heal this one. If on the other hand, it is Your desire to bring him home, Lord do so quickly and peacefully without pain. Give this family the strength that is in the Hope, the hope of Your Son Jesus who we celebrate His first coming this time of year. Give them that Hope Lord. Make their mourning brief and return their Joy. Show them how to choose Joy. That Joy is Your Son. Show them how to focus their eyes on Him that they may receive peace. Lord we thank You for that Son, Your only Son that You so unselfishly gave that We may have an Advocate to allow us to come to You. It is in his name, Jesus Christ our Savior we pray, Amen.
