    Sure Hope I Heal Quickly

Fargus, myself and my dad were drawn for the Archery hunt at the Chaparral WMA next week. My dad and I have been putting in for this hunt for almost 20 years and Fargus joined us in our quest 6ish years ago. The way my luck works, my gallbladder started acting up, and at 11:00 this morning the surgeon took it out via laparoscopic surgery. He seems to think I will be able to make the hunt, so let's hope he's right! Hail Murphy!![emoji1787][emoji1787]

Hope all is well Chris and I hope you make your hunt and shoot a big one. Glad they found out what was going on and that the doctor took care of it. Heal fast brother, we need a good live hunt.

It heals fast but don't lift a deer or anything heavier than a bow lol.

Good Advice. Mine healed quick. No lifting or falling though!

Praying for a speedy recovery so you can get back in the woods.

Can you use a cross bow? I had mine taken out a few years ago using the same method and I was working after just a day of recovery. But I’m not sure how it would have felt to pull a bow back the following week.

Yeah, luckily my hunting partner is an understanding guy and has volunteered to help me if I'm lucky enough to get one.

Yes I can, but unfortunately I don't own one.

Dang, someone got thrown under the bus. Sounds like he's a real nice guy though.

We'll get him squared away if need be. My son has one he might be willing to rent out for a nominal fee. The bolts and broadheads will be the expensive part, lol.
