Anderson County Rut ?

I just got back into cell service at the house and seen this post. I've been in mills county. Nothing going on there at all. At my house here in Anderson county they have been since Tuesday. I've got a buck right now with his nose so far up a does butt in the pasture right now. Guess I should have stayed here.

Every buck I have seen the past week have been trailing does. I watched a super nice 10 point chase a doe across Hwy 79 near Tucker store around noon today.

Just had a doe come out trotted across & right behind her a little 4-pt. I could hear him grunting. Then a pack of hogs showed up & he moved out with his doe

Not much action lately. Weather is not ideal. A little windy at times & very mild. Had some pigs try & come in this morning & had a doe bust me about 7. She blew & busted out of here. Nothing moving since

Last week of October was great. I was seeing deer all over the place every sit. Saw about 5 or 6 different young bucks, but nothing mature. Thought for sure it was about to get crazy only to sit every day this week and I haven’t seen a **** thing. All week only seen two does. I’ve even gone stalk hunting a couple times and didn’t jump anything at all.

This county just kicks my *** every year.

My cell cams freaked out this morning when a deer walked out in front of them. I thought all my batteries were dead there wasn’t much movement over the last week.

Just had a two year old 8 point come make a scrape about 40 yds from me then walked under me and down the lane. Jumped the fence right into the neighbors front yard.

Doe and a spike 20min ago for me. Stand I am in has been covered in deer the last few weeks but not many mature bucks.
