Man it’s really a personal thing. I just don’t like plaques on shoulder mounts. I think they “take away” from the mount itself. They make the animal look smaller. And they are very “old school”. I probably haven’t used one in 15 years. And even back then I didn’t like them. But like I said, it’s a personal thing.

And no disrespect was meant on the head and shoulder thing. Some of us just got a chuckle out of it as we have never heard that before.

Yeah, that's all I have ever called them, but Im not a Taxi, so sorry for my ignorance.

My first "big" buck taken with a bow, I put it on a arrowhead plaque, but like you said that's old school. That deer was taken in mid 90s.

Hey, glad to drop a little humor in your day, intended or not.

Plaqueless on a shoulder mount always.

I had one shoulder mount done on a plaque in the late 90s from an old school taxi. Had no idea it was coming with one. That plaque didn't make it to the wall

Man that is nice! Oh well, deer is already at the Taxi, on the form.

So a wall pedestal does what? Hold out from the wall to get a side profile?
