Jaybay that shot placement says you are liking that short bow just fine! I have a Bear Supermag (48” I believe) and I can shoot it well but if my form suffers it shows in a hurry! Lol
Congrats Bisch and Horsehide. I really want to get something lined up at London Oaks. Looks like a great place!
The TBH guys are closing out 2020 quite well...keep it up!

I like the bow. and I seem to shoot it well, but I am so inexperienced that I don't know if I could tell a bad bow from a good one. The Bear and the sage are the only two traditional bows I have ever shot. I seem to be just as accurate with each but the bear is more comfortable in the tree. I look forward to the day I can shoot with someone who knows what they are doing.
On another topic I shoot a 500 spine gold tip arrow out of this bow with a 125 grain Magnus blade no insert, I notice most of the guys shoot a lot heavier on the ends than that. I have slow motioned my arrow and it looks to fly true. I understand the more weight up front equals more penetration, my question is am I playing with fire shooting this light upfront. I got a complete pass through on my deer, did I get lucky?
I passed up 30 shots from the 1st of October, until I killed this deer that I would have taken with a compound waiting on a shot, I felt 90 percent sure I would make. 10-12 yards and in and quartering away is a must for me at this point. At that distance when I practice I can pretty much stay in a paper plate most of the time in the middle. I am just so green at this that I am not sure of a lot of things. Thanks to everyone who helps me with their knowledge on this forum.
