Question Texas Elk hunt

Who would yall recommend for a Texas elk hunt? I have a special needs son that Id like to take as well. If your an outfitter please feel free to hit me up as well. This will more than likely be the only elk hunt we ever go on so its a bucket list thing. Thanks in advance.

Im not sure what your budget is but I can tell you texas elk is very expensive if you are talking fair chase , only a few places have them and they know it. You could probably do it cheaper out of state.
You check double diamond

High West Outfitters.
Roy Hurley at Sproul Ranch.
Greg Simons at Wildlife Systems.

All three produce great elk. As mentioned above, Texas free range elk are very expensive.

I have not but I called him last year just before I left for my black gap hunt to enquire about a corporate texas elk hunt, I was thinking about taking a customer. I probably spent 30-40 minutes on the phone with Wes and he was very up front about the whole texas elk hunting. Seems like a stand up dude and knows his stuff. We also talked mule deer since I was heading to his backyard essentially.

Wow. I would have thought it was cheaper than going out west.
