    Settings for a picture?????

How can I go back to a picture and find what settings I used to take the picture? Do the digital cameras keep that info with the picture?

If you upload to flickr all the exif data is automatically there.

Thanks Steven...Never used flickr, but looks like I will start...I usually save all my pics onto an external harddrive.

Right click on the file on your computer, hit properties and then hit the summary tab. It should be there unless you somehow stripped it off the file.

If you use Photoshop, it will show you the EXIF data as well.

Also, for viewing the EXIF on web-posted pics, you can use Opanda IEXIF 2 or similar software. This one is free, and a right-click on a picture will give you a menu option to view EXIF data. Click on that, and there it is.

I posted this on the other thread, but here again is how it works.....

Make sure you don't choose 'Save for Web' in Photoshop so you won't remove the EXIF info on your pics.

Right. But with the REALLY small file size allowed for attachments here, it might become a necessity. Hint....hint.....
