We're right on the edge of the rain this morning. Most of the heavy stuff went (and is still going) south of us. It's still raining enough I decided to get in my bow blind this morning. I was thinking about just kinda wondering around trying to call them in and locate them but decided I didn't want to get wet. I guess I'm spoiled.

I really need to learn how to post pics...
Kourtney and I went out this a.m. Seemed slow at first. Heard some in 2 or 3 different directions that seemed a ways off. Just hung out and called randomly. All the sudden a lone bird hollared back at us and then just kept on coming! Once he saw the decoys, he came in on a string!lol Somewhere in the 20-25 yard range and she hammered him! Not sure but I might have been more excited than her! Got to watch him stop and strut from 100 yds on in. It was great! Hope y'all get em!

Could have....

Pulled down in pasture and this guy came gobbling in all the way to the truck. Less than 10 yds at one pt!

We dont open till 22nd.
