Default 12 National Parks - 2 months - photo tour

Wife and I took off beginning of August and got back about a week ago. We hit 12 National Parks, logged about 250 miles on the boots and still feel like we rushed through it all. Gonna just go through and give a photo tour Park by Park

Started off with Glacier NP

USA! USA! USA!

Nati Park System is the best.

I hope to follow in your footsteps someday. I have been to several and just got back from the Grand Canyon this week. They have all left me with a lot of feelings but one is how small I am physically and otherwise!

If I was gonna do one area it would be Yosemite/Sequoia. Yomsemite you can skip the Valley. Spend a day or two on the Point and a couple days Tiaoga Pass. Sequoia and Kings skip the two big trees and go one some hikes through the Sequoia groves.

Absolute dream trip for me….. thank you for sharing.

Would you have done it with youngish kids? Or would it be really tough to do? In your opinion which of the parks were more kid friendly? I have a 6 and 3 year old boys and starting to try and think about a 3 week trip next summer….. so 7 and 4 at that point.

Thank you in advance for any input…..

We did Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier over three weeks in July and had a great experience also. Yosemite/Sequoia is our next big trip so we will definitely use your pointers. Thanks for sharing and y’all keep enjoying retirement together!

Great Pics...
My wife and I just road from Central TX to Utah early May and hit all five National Parks. It was a great ride. Couple years ago we road to Glacier, Beartooth Pass, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, down to Black Canyon, Ouray, Silverton, Durango, Madrid NM, to Roswell and back..
This country has so much natural beauty it's just amazing. And, luckily we've seen most of it on motorcycle...

These pics remind me it's time to plan another bike trip...
