Well think my 14% dairy pellets works just find, been a country boy my whole life, my Dad was a cattle man and I've lived on a farm for 65yrs. Wanted to feed protein all this year but couldn't afford all that high priced deer protein. This is a dairy pellet that we always feed so thought I'd give it a try, deer seem to love it and antlers are looking good. Can't wait for season opener.

If you can’t find dairy pellet then calf starter works great too. I use starter 16%. The deer love it and it’s around $9 for 50 lb bag. Put out 3 tons so far just this year.

Where do we find it? Tractor supply? Or do you have to go to a cattle feed store?
