The LPK isn't really installed in there (at least they weren't in mine), its just holds the FCG, safety & grip and from what I remember its all just press fit into it. The majority of the LPK stuff just shipped in a bag.

This is correct. But the grip does come off to install on the lower.

Expense. I couldnít afford a complete rifle but I could afford the upper. LaRue has a really nice upper kit. I used my Colt LE6920 lower. All the guts came out and were replaced with LaRue innards. Everything fit perfectly and that new trigger is sweet. It all went together pretty easy.

This was my first time to put an AR together in any form. In the army, all we did was field strip our M16ís , never been any deeper than that. I was surprised how easy it was and I didnít even watch any videos on how to do it. No instructions either.

Ya gotta love LaRue tactical. They have the BEST trigger out there for the money and all of their stuff is super quality. I also bought the trigger chassis from LaRue. You can see through the cut out window where the hammer actually breaks when the trigger is pulled.
Cool stuff. Nice rifle. Good luck with it.
