Yesterday was slow but today a different pond paid off. My Dad brother and son hunting with me. Only a few big ducks seen but the wood ducks were in the woods. Need some water bad though and some weather.

I can't remember the last time I shot or saw a woody.

Think I shot a hen back in 09-10 maybe. Of course a pair come in and I wacked the hen!

Nice shoot. I'm jealous. We used to wreck those woodies off the calcasieu and in around Many.

Nephew just got his associates and is an aspiring waterfowler. Got him a hunt this Saturday with SoTexOutdoors out of Poteet. Of course I'm going to join him[emoji16] We'll see how it goes
