When I think of Texas, it would take a very thick book to put all those images in. There is just a whole lot to Texas. I am 52, have driven a lot of this state and I know there is a lot of this state I have never seen. Every once in a while, I get to see areas I have never seen, I always find very interesting stuff. You could spend your whole life driving this state and not see all there is to see or experience.

The sunsets where the sky is on fire
The dew on my windows in the morning from the humidity
The bay in the early morning
Deer grazing at the edge of the tree line
Bluebonnets, bbq, and Buccees
Families stopped at Woody’s in Centerville
Clean trucks and atvs on the highway o n Friday’s. Dirty coming home on Sunday.
Antlers poking out an ice chest
Magellan fishing shirts
And perhaps my most cherished image of Texas is the look on Houston Texans fans’ faces when their team ****s another season into the toilet by Week 6 with no meaningful franchise progress.

A group of bucks chasing a doe in an open mesquite flat in December. A covey of quail busting out of a yucca thicket in west texas mountains! Red headed tom peeking over a ridge trying to find that hen he keeps hearing. A giant axis buck trotting up a rocky ridge in the hill country. Teal buzzing the rice patch just before shooting time in eagle lake. A big yellow mouth trout blowing up on a she dog along the flats in mansfield. A silver flash outside the jetties in POC from a feeding tarpon. A big offshore boat backing into the scales with their marlin flags flying. The sun rise over the piney woods and a sun set over the mountains out west!! It doesn't get any better than Texas!
