Default Longhorn River Ranch

Got the main house and cottage with family through the weekend. Didnít even bring my bow. Just on the quick walk around the house we saw 3 massive bucks, axis and fallow.

Place has skeet, archery, frisbee golf, hiking, fishing and we have vodka!

The archery range is right below the pool and there is a guide with a couple down there now prepping for a hunt tomorrow. Wonder if TBHers?

What are these? We saw at least 50 animals tonight and the only ones I can name so far are axis and fallow bucks, zebra and rams.

You're saving lots of money by not having your bow

If you honked your truck horn I could hear you from our front porch at the ranch.

I don't live too far from there, always wondered what it looked like behind the fence.

I sold the Ranch across the road from the gate.

I would always see all kinds of critters along with some big elk pulling in across the road

I sat for an hour one day on the side of the road watching two big bull elk trying to kill each other one afternoon years ago on that ranch. It has always been a beautiful place.

Wow. Nice property.
We are in Hunt and loving the Hill country too.
Visited the YO and saw a lot of game. Sad recent history over there, but the new owners are bringing it back.

Last night I drove a truck right up to a huge herd of oryx and two bison right by one house that I could have touched out of the window. Animals here seem oblivious to vehicle traffic but when Iím out on foot they head for the hills PDQ.

My father in law is the new ranch manager on this place. I’ve been up there a handful of times and it’s an amazing place. I actually have a few of my sheep up there in the breeding pen up front. Everyone should try to hunt here at least once.

I was invited on a hunt out there a couple years ago with freedom care warrior project on a veteran hunt. Guide at the time was David. Really is a beautiful place. I was lucky enough to put down a nice ram.
