Hunters Education Question

I am going on an antelope hunt in New Mexico next weekend. (Rifle). I was born before 1971. Do I need to have the hunters education class? Can’t find anything on the NM site.

Not sure about NM but most other states require one regardless of what your home state rules are. I’m also old enough to be exempt here in Texas but have to have one in Colorado. I took an online hunters education for Texas and Colorado honored that.
