Serious question. Why do you question if the meat will be good? Take what you want and get it on ice.

Right under armpit is heart lungs or throat.

Update. It's dead. Looks like entry was about 2 inches right of the anus and exit was near the spine on the right side, in line with the front leg

If you were right of the anus, instead of left, it is good to go.

No help from me, but a while back I came upon a freshly hit pig, while driving to Leakey. The pig was probably hit within the last hour or so. It has probably about 100 pounds or so. It had its head and front legs up, but I’m guessing it’s back was broke. I was in a company truck, so I did not have a gun on me.I did however happened to have an axe that I use for small brush removal I turned around and pulled up to it. I got out and retrieved my axe to put it down. When I got within 10 feet of it, it started chomping its teeth and making all sorts of scary noises. It lunged at me and came after me, dragging itself on its two from feet. Well that ain’t gonna work. Tried gettting behind it to hit it over the head. Same thing.
Nope.
So, I got back in the truck and drove over it 3-4 times , till it stopped moving.
That’s all I got.

This right here 10000 percent. Under the armpit and up into the chest cavity with any sizable knife will have it gone in 30 seconds or less.
