Had to do a two day trip to Louisiana last week via road. Looks like I have 10 days left of being non-essential. Works going to be mad...,but they sent me.

Now today Governor Abbott has closed the Louisiana border to non essential personnel coming into Texas.

Oh I'll still have to work, but since I work from home, self-quarantine is pretty normal for me. LOL

If you went for work I’m guessing it was for essential reasons. Essential travel is not included in the driving ban.

Man I have a fishing trip booked for mid May in Venice. Pretty much once in a lifetime trip for my dad and I. Please let this be lifted by then.

I wouldn't call the trip essential, but my client is a major health care provider.

What I would be scare of is DPS escorting you to a hotel and forcing you to quarantine there for 14 days at your expense.
