Odd thread indeed. However, this guy nailed it.

Just trying to get back on track. Seriously, I just watched the play for the first time since last night. If you see anything dirty on NE's part you are peering through a lens that bends and refracts reality.

Never said it was a creative play, it was and it worked....just said I would hate to see the Texans 2 more irreplaceable players get hurt on something like that....
No hits were cheap or a cheap shot by the Pats....some of yall read into too much.

It worked, TD scored and Texans hung on by a thread to win...Good for them

Yes they did take their foot off the gas because statistically is was almost impossible to give up the win when they went up 28-9. You only lose if you make a mistake.

The play was drawn up over the bye week. They took it from the Chicago bears. Deshaun and Hopkins drew on notebook paper and brought it into Tim Kelly who put the play in the book and game plan.

Im not sure why you are still even a fan of the Texans if you cant be excited about last night.

Haha. True.

Honestly I like it when all Texas teams are playing well. It doesn't happen very often, but I support the Houston teams first, then any other Texas team in their respective sports.

Funny how everybody talks about how great their favorite college QB runs the ball. Why is it ok for every college QB to rush for 1000 yds, 20 rushing tds, lead the team in rushing, but a QB cant run the same plays when (if) they get to the NFL?

The difference is the speed and ability of the guys chasing that QB from college to pro. And that QB absolutely can run the same plays he did in college. That QB will just have a shorter career than one that is good at throwing the ball too.

I love a running QB. They just don't last as long.

He tends to trend up and then back down...wish it was more consistent in staying up.

Prediction - they go 2 - 2 down the stretch...

They were a hand length away from losing an on-side kick and giving the ball back to the GOAT...

Kyler Murray was talking/laughing the other day about how all the defensive lineman in the NFL are just as fast as he is.
