She will get used to it. Mine knows that gator season starts end of August then dove, teal, duck and deer season ends around mid January. I get 5.5 months out of “hunting season”. Then it’s turkey season and “hog season”.

I made it clear when we set our wedding date that I would not get married between September and January. She asked why and I told her I don't want our anniversary to ever interfere with a possible hunting trip. She laughed, and said okay. That's when I knew I married the right one.

Yep make it clear from the start. Also let her know you could be MLD and then it would run Oct through February that’s 5 months out of the year

Make sure you take the opportunity to let her know that timing of child birth needs to be outside of this period as well.��

Doesn't really matter if he did or not. I mean, he should have, but they can be good with it one day, and not the next.
